Practical Concealed Carry
Class Description
This comprehensive Concealed Weapons Training Course provides students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to responsibly carry a concealed firearm. The class combines in-depth classroom instruction with hands-on live-fire training on the shooting range to ensure safe and practical application of all concepts. In the classroom portion, students learn essential firearm safety rules, legal responsibilities of concealed carry, situational awareness, conflict avoidance, safe storage practices, and an overview of state and local laws. Instruction also covers firearm mechanics, ammunition fundamentals, drawing from concealment, and decision-making considerations for defensive scenarios. On the range students receive guided, supervised practice focused on safe gun handling, proper grip and stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and accuracy. Participants will demonstrate the ability to load, unload, and operate their firearm safely, as well as perform basic shooting drills appropriate for concealed carry. Upon successful completion of both the classroom and range requirements, students will receive a certificate verifying their training, which may be used to support a concealed carry permit application depending on state regulations.
